The Borgerhout area of Antwerp hosts a fast-growing, avant-gardistic and dynamic art scene. The tri-annual Friday-night openings dubbed Borger offer an alternative yet complementary program to the Nocturne, further cementing Antwerps reputation as epicentre of contemporary art. Borger takes place three times a year in galleries and art spaces in the Borgerhout, Zurenborg and Berchem areas.

Nocturne

The renowned Nocturnes are a series of recurring, simultaneous Thursday-night openings hosted by a collective of established Antwerp Art galleries. Nocturne takes place every six weeks in galleries, museums and art spaces in the Zuid area of Antwerp.

→ Milan W., Concert Milan W. / JJ009 #4 by Jj funhouse

Milan W. combines pulsating rhythms with analogue synth melodies which result in gripping electronic compositions. He knows how to distill the best out of the best European masters of electronic atmospheria, serves it up without the boring parts and marks his own stamp right in the middle. Milan W. is the last in a series of four concerts organised in the cinema space of Extra City.
